Let me start the post by acknowledging that I am part of the protest but I am a solution seeker too. By the way we have reacted so far .. a short story comes to mind that our teachers used to tell us…..
“Once upon a time a dog fell in the well in a Muslim village. Now all the villagers gathered and asked the Imam Masjid that how to purify the well’s water. The Imam Masjid told them to take out 20 buckets of water and that should purify the water. The people did and asked the Imam to check and confirm if the water has been purified or not .. The Imam said “ NO” the villagers questions why
“ The Imam said the DOG is still in the well ”
So the questions here is protesting is great … but are we taking care of that dog that was the reason of all the problem.
In the case of Draw Muhammad (SAW) Day the dog is the mentality of those chunk of guys that think that this is the freedom of speech to act in this way. What they should realize that its is not freedom of speech or expression if you are going to act against the other people’s belief’s. Basically that would be you not accepting the freedom of speech and expression of that religion.
Now the question is that we need to formulate a strategy that would help us encounter that mentality so we won’t be forced to go to protest every week …..
By forcing those guys to stop basically we are forcing them to think about all other options , venues that could be used.
So what we need is a permanent solution so that we could take care of this sort of issue once and for all ….

And obviously on mass level, government should take step internationally..

I am very happy with our Court’s order.. these type of websites should be ban forever, caus its not insult of only one human… its basically for whole muslim community, and this is the time we really need unity and strength….

A Pakistani court today banned the use of Facebook in Pakistan until May 31. The ban was in response to a Facebook page called “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!” to be held Thursday.
