As the day is coming closer 20 May, 2010 of the Draw Muhammad (PBUH) Facebook Event, the number of sms’s, emails and msgs calling for protests has also increased. When I see this kind of situation I really feel like a puppet whose strings are in somebody elses hands and they are pulling in any direction that they want.
Now why I say this, well once you go through the video you’ll understand what were the real objectives of these people and groups. They basically are using the Name of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a stepping stone towards spotlight.
Now basically they have three objectives:
1- Recognition.
2- Lack of Skills or Creativity.
3- Interactive Topics.
Now let me explain these …..
1- Recognition:
These guys want self promotion, promotion of there groups pages etc. Now the easiest way to catch the spotlight in Media is to pick up on somebody famous, start talking trash about them. Make sure that your speech or opinion disturbs a certain group of folks and then you have a perfect recipe for becoming famous. As that group will react to your comments and that will create hype / issue and eventually you’ll become from nobody to “Somebody” So in a way they Need Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for there self promotional gig.
2- Lack of Skills or Creativity:
We are living in the time of shortcuts. Nobody wants to do any work. Everyone is looking for shortcuts to fame and success. Thus, these bunch of idiots are there just doing this. They know that they have no skills or creativity to come up with anything that would bring them fame and recognition except starting this “Hatred” campaign against somebody famous.
3- Interactive Topics:
Now why pick on Prophet Muhammad (SAW) ?????? Well the answer is simple because of the sheer Power that the name brings. They know if they talk about anybody other then HIM (SAW) then they won’t get the same results. It’s the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his billions of die hard followers that are going to bring them fame. They know if they talk trash about HIM (SAW) or draw images of him etc , then they’ll surely attract a huge audience.
If you even visit there page you’ll see this pattern in operation. There page has 90 % of contribution from Muslims, who are requesting them to close , trying to bring logic to them , abusing them etc etc .. Eventually keeping there page active.
Anyways, now I hope there agenda is more clearer and you guys would realize that protesting against them is 100 % what they want … they want you to react , they want you to come out on roads , send emails , drive more and more people towards them , given them as much hype and publicity as you can ….
Even if the facebook guys would close this , which would again give them strength to see that they actually disturbed Muslims so much and reach out to that many people that eventually the page was brought down … and they might come up with a new page ..
So the strategy is not effective as we are merely playing into there game …. In my next series of videos I’ll share with you the Answers to end this.

The point of Draw Muhammad day is not to insult or pass any judgment on Muhammad. It is defend the right to say absolutely anything. I don’t know much about your prophet, so I say nothing of him, but I will greatly defend my right to pass judgment should I choose.
Whilst I support the Draw Muhammad Day event as it was supposed to be, which is a protest against the Islamic extremists and the people who issue death threats (and worse) against people who draw Islam… I’m not for blanket hate of all Muslims. Which far too many fall into, and not just when protesting extremists of your faith. Plenty of you guys are good people. So this seems like a good counter protest, it’s a peaceful one and is purposefully non-aggressive.
Stand up and condemn the Islamic radical terrorists that threaten to kill people, fly planes into buildings, and blow up marketplaces and bars. Stand up and say that they are evil, disgusting people that are wrong for doing what they are doing and I will not participate in Draw Mohammed day. Otherwise, you are all the same and you can just deal with the ridicule. If Mohammed were all of these things you say he was, then he too would condemn the taking of life in Islams name.
‘Islamic’ terrorists have come no where near the death toll and carnage caused by many western governments and regimes, so i think it’s you who should be doing most of the condemnation, lol, last i checked, your ‘civilized’ armies were occupying not one, but two muslim countries, and you want to open your mouth and act like your on the side of right? give us all a break.
On one hand I want to commend you for your peaceful response and your exercise of freedom of expression. On the other hand I believe the intolerant part of Islam is worthy of ridicule, so I respect the organizers of Draw Muhammad Day right to express themselves. I know some meat-heads will take it too far. I can live with this, can you?
@Jimmy i can live with it, your people can’t live with us making peaceful responses as we have already recieved several death threats, insults, and a virus was sent to a partner website shutting it down for 1 day. so i dont think a lot of your people will be able to handle this, plus this campaign is only the start, it is growing very fast, a whole new movement has begun that will continue to spread and spread!
@Tirmizi, You’ve impressed me. I clicked this link expecting threats or other rants, thereby bolstering my preexisting belief that Muslims were all crazy. But I was pleasantly surprised. Your “let’s show them the good.” approach is much better than “us vs them.” I hope your method gains momentum, as “us billion vs them billion” has been a recipe for disaster. If you can change this to a battle of who can show the most good, then we’ll all win.

Did I read “blasphemous” material? Is THAT the reason given??? What a load of crap. Like banning YouTube is top of the agenda for practicing Muslims – as if our government really gives a s^*t about Islam – there’s more pro-Islam content on YouTube then anywhere else on the web. If the reason really is the video by the Dutch MP, as Erikka points, then why doesn’t our government (which is SO concerned) raise the issue on a diplomatic level. Why block ALL access to YouTube. This is very convenient. They think the people are stupid and can’t see through their lies. Sorry for the rant but I’m truly disgusted at their hypocrisy and cowardice.

This is stupid. If people have such a problem with facebook and youtube, then they can just stop using it instead of making it unaccessible to other people that actually want to use it. Facebook is a was for peoplle to connect with each other and blocking it is a stupid thing to do.
Okay, I haven’t seen the video, nor do I have any idea on it’s contents. But why block Youtube for that. I am sure there are tons of other hateful videos, so where do you draw the line? I am not singling out Pakistan here, because the same has happened in India too. if something is hateful, the provider — here Google — would have to be approached and be told to remove said hateful video, and it is again upto Google to review it’s policies and take appropriate action, if need be; which in this case, it has done.
Why a government must block an entire domain, though, is beyond me.
Okay, the video has been removed now, didn’t get to see it. I agree with Piker, there are hundreds of such videos and other pure repulsive content around, why block YouTube for a single video? Block everything when you feel like it. Insanity.
